Our Testimonials

K.S

“With Dondrub I learned to love and finally remember the complicated movements of tai chi. In my 6th decade, I was advised that tai chi would help lower my blood pressure. It did, along with many other positive side effects. But Bruce Lee said it best: “be like water my friend “. Martial arts are a perfect metaphor for personal growth.”

P. O

“One of my teachers recommended that I take Tai Chi classes to support my health. I tried a class but I felt akward because I couldn’t follow the instructions, so I stopped. When I found Dondrub his thorough and patient teaching style combined with his body-focused instruction, inspired me to continue. Today after years of practicing it I feel the grounding benefits physically, mentally and emotionally. What’s more, I love the community he has created.”

K. R

“I met Dondrub Wangchuk thirty plus years ago when I was seeking recovery from a physical injury. Dondrub warmly welcomed me into his class. My tai chi practice helped me heal. It provided me with a gentle, meditative way to move my body, challenge my mind, slow down and de-stress. Dondrub’s expertise as well as his open and caring manner have meant so much to me. He exudes kindness, patience and peacefulness. Now that I am in my seventies my tai chi practice has become increasingly more important to me in order to maintain my balance, flexibility and memory. I am forever grateful that my journey has included these wonderful years with Dondrub as my teacher.”

B. F

“Tai chi has been immensely beneficial in calming my overactive mind, increasing my flexibility, and improving my circulation which in turn helps my joint pain. As someone who lives with rheumatoid arthritis, tai chi has been crucial in helping to manage stress and reduce inflammation, which allows me to keep moving through life in a healthy way. Dondrub is an extremely patient and caring teacher, and I am grateful for his kind support and instruction over these past years! “
