“I’ve been practicing Tai chi with Dondrub for the past 10 years, and recently, I decided to explore Qigong by attending his workshops. I am so grateful for the opportunity to take his classes. He offers a perfect blend of movement and breathing, allowing me to truly relax both physically and mentally. I appreciate his classes provide a space for socializing with fellow students. I always leave feeling more centered and balanced. Dondrub’s style is deeply grounding and truly inspiring as he embodies the very principles of Qigong.”

K.S

“With Dondrub I learned to love and finally remember the complicated movements of tai chi. In my 6th decade, I was advised that tai chi would help lower my blood pressure. It did, along with many other positive side effects. But Bruce Lee said it best: “be like water my friend “. Martial arts are a perfect metaphor for personal growth.”

P. O

“One of my teachers recommended that I take Tai Chi classes to support my health. I tried a class but I felt akward because I couldn’t follow the instructions, so I stopped. When I found Dondrub his thorough and patient teaching style combined with his body-focused instruction, inspired me to continue. Today after years of practicing it I feel the grounding benefits physically, mentally and emotionally. What’s more, I love the community he has created.”

K. R

“I met Dondrub Wangchuk thirty plus years ago when I was seeking recovery from a physical injury. Dondrub warmly welcomed me into his class. My tai chi practice helped me heal. It provided me with a gentle, meditative way to move my body, challenge my mind, slow down and de-stress. Dondrub’s expertise as well as his open and caring manner have meant so much to me. He exudes kindness, patience and peacefulness. Now that I am in my seventies my tai chi practice has become increasingly more important to me in order to maintain my balance, flexibility and memory. I am forever grateful that my journey has included these wonderful years with Dondrub as my teacher.”

B. F

“Tai chi has been immensely beneficial in calming my overactive mind, increasing my flexibility, and improving my circulation which in turn helps my joint pain. As someone who lives with rheumatoid arthritis, tai chi has been crucial in helping to manage stress and reduce inflammation, which allows me to keep moving through life in a healthy way. Dondrub is an extremely patient and caring teacher, and I am grateful for his kind support and instruction over these past years! “

R. B

“I am deeply grateful to have had the privilege of learning from Dondrub, whose guidance and wisdom transformed my understanding of shiatsu and personal well-being.

Dondrub has an incredible ability to blend deep knowledge of traditional techniques with a profound sense of empathy and intuition. In every session, he not only shared his expertise but also created a safe and nurturing space for growth and healing.

Dondrub’s teaching style is both patient and encouraging, always empowering students to trust their hands and their instincts. What I admire most is how he leads by example, embodying the principles of shiatsu and the Taoist arts in his own life and practice. Thanks to him, I’ve developed a greater sense of balance, awareness, and connection—not just as a student of eastern medicine, but as a person.

I am forever grateful for his guidance and the lasting impact he’s had on my journey toward healing and self-discovery. Dondrub’s passion for teaching and dedication to his students is truly inspiring.”

“I wanted to learn basic shiatsu so I could help my family whenever they needed a healing touch to ease their stress. A friend recommended I take the Zen shiatsu course with Dondrub, who taught me how to release stress and calm the nervous system through touch. It has become a powerful tool for easing pain and anxiety.”

A.M.

“Dondrub is a one-of-a-kind teacher — an experienced professional whose training brings profound, life-changing transformations. The Shiatsu course offers a completely fresh perspective on bodywork. Through hands-on learning, we engage all our senses to understand how to read people’s bodies, energies, and the emotions they carry. We not only learn how to connect with these emotions to help others but also discover how to foster this connection within ourselves. The experience is enlightening, taught with deep empathy by a professor who supports and gently guides us toward growth. When I began this training, I had no idea how profoundly it would affect my life. Dondrub’s teaching goes far beyond providing outstanding Shiatsu training. It nurtures our skills as practitioners while also offering moments of personal transformation that resonate far beyond the treatment room. His emphasis on precision, care, and intention is invaluable. I wholeheartedly recommend this course — not just as professional training, but as a powerful journey of self-development. Self-awareness is the foundation of becoming both a better practitioner and a better person. Thank you, Dondrub, for the lasting legacy you’ve created through your incredible generosity of spirit. Every single class was a gift.”
